Day 1: I can hardly contain my excitement! Today, I sat down and began brainstorming for my new book, a follow-up to 'The Mystical Metamorphosis of Hanover Right: A Financial Tale.' Follow me on a writing journey: the ups and downs of a newbie writer, the successes, failures, and everything in between. I can't wait to keep you in the loop!
Day 2: Can you say 'jackpot?' I'm not even sure how I happened upon this, but I found a fantastic website, advancedfictionwriting.com (Randy Ingermanson). AKA the snowflake guy, Mr. Ingermanson proposes the 'Snowflake Method' for novel writing. I decided to give it a try. INSERT PLUG: Check out my Instagram page at @jenniferferroauthor. The snowflake you see in my post is called the Koch Snowflake. It becomes a snowflake as you add successive stages of equilateral triangles. So if we look at a novel in the same light, one central idea built upon in consecutive stages...you get the picture. And so today, I wrote one sentence.
Day 3: Step 2 of the Snowflake Method--check! Today I wrote a short paragraph that summarizes my new novel. I'm smitten with the ease and simplicity that this method delivers...Thank you, Mr. Ingermanson! I feel creative and optimistic, and I can't wait to tackle step 3!
